Hello Dear Friends, it is so exciting seeing new developments happening at New Covenant Christian School. The school recently received a brand-new multipurpose printer/copier which does the scanning and photocopying, wireless, and with a very highspeed printing and photocopying capacity. Up until 3 years ago, it would not have been possible for us to operate this machine, because the village of Nangala where the school is located did not have electricity. There is so much joy in our school staff this month due to the new printer. This is a game changer in the academic performance. As of this month, we will not have to travel to town over rough roads every week to have a printing company print our assessment exams. We will also be saving money in printing costs. This is a real deal for the school. We are grateful for this wonderful donation to our school. We thank God for the generosity of the people who donate to Hope 4 the Children! You are changing the lives of the children here in Nangala, Uganda. - Pastor Nbyamuba Obed
I am Joseph. I completed my primary education at New Covenant Christian School in 2024. I am glad to have been among the pioneers. We are the first candidates. I thank God for my teachers who supported me. They accepted me in their house and in my primary seven. I was staying in one of the rooms with my teachers. This enabled me to study, and I got the support I needed. My parents were not able to pay the huge amount of money that is paid in other schools. I thank God for the whites who helped in building and all the support that they gave to us as the school. May God bless you. I am now in senior one and I want to become an engineer. Thank you everyone that has supported me to complete my primary school. The love that you showed will never be forgotten. God bless you abundantly.
My name is Monica. I am now in senior one. I thank God for New Covenant Christian School for enabling me to study up to primary seven. I thank the directors, headteacher and my beloved teachers for the support they gave me throughout all these years. Without them, I would not have been able to finish my primary school. I also want to thank all the donors who were supporting us. Without their help, I would not be able to study. I come from the very poor family. I don't have a father, and my mom didn't have enough money to educate me in the other schools which are paying a lot of money. This school has love. This has created in me much trust and hope in the Lord Jesus. I know that I will continue and finish my education. I want to become a doctor and help the people especially the poor. God bless you the donors.
We thank God for that what he has done at New Covenant Christian School. We appreciate Hope 4 the Children for the great support given to us. You are a big part of this story and a great testimony. Last year, we had our first candidates class sitting for the National exams where our candidates from one of the poorest remote areas of Uganda had an opportunity to compete nationally with giant schools from the whole country of Uganda. Our four candidates passed their exams well with nice grades. All four candidates from NCCS passed the national exam. We thank God three of them have already joined the secondary level of education. This is a big testimony within the community in the village of Nangala, giving our school great credibility and trust. Thank you again Hope 4 the Children, may God bless you abundantly for your support of New Covenant Christian School. By Pastor Obed Ndyamuba
New Covenant Christian School's project in Nangala, a semi-remote mountain village, comes with its fair share of challenges. One such challenge is the expensive transportation cost of construction materials. The remote location of the village makes it difficult and costly to bring in the required building materials, thus adding to the already tight budget for the project. Another challenge that the school must address is providing room and board for its teachers. As the village is situated in a remote area, it is difficult to find accommodation and food for the teachers. This presents a significant challenge for the school, which is committed to providing its teachers with comfortable and adequate living conditions to enable them to focus on their teaching responsibilities. Additionally, many parents in the village cannot afford to pay for tuition or uniforms for their children.
